Title: Opportunity for Your Congregants and Friends
Content:
DeLeT (Day school Leadership through Teaching), a program at Brandeis University which offers a heavily subsidized Master of Arts in Teaching degree and prepares qualified candidates to become Jewish day school teachers for general studies, Judaic, Tanakh, or Hebrew. We happily accept applications from anyone looking for a meaningful career in day school teaching, recent college graduates, and mid-life career changers alike. I was wondering if you would share the language below or flyer with your Hebrew school teachers bulletin boards, temple bulletin, or anywhere/anyone else you think might benefit from this incredible opportunity.

DeLeT is more than than just a masters program. We offer support after graduation, help with job placement, guidance as a new teacher, and continuing professional development. This is an important service you ca provide you to your congregation, especially in these economically challenging times. Please fee free to contact us if you have any questions. Both programs offer:

* Very generous scholarships
* Year-long mentored internship
* Close integration of courses & fieldwork
* Placement assistance as a teacher
* Preparation for state teaching certification
* Support during the first two years of teaching
* Membership in a growing alumni network
