Mount Zion Teen Programs Internship
($500 stipend)
8 Week Internship (flexible time duration depending on availability)
28 hours/week, including 4 hours a week spent off-site working with one of our three partner organizations.
Supervisor: Ana Apter, Teen & Chai School Director
Goals:
1. To assist in creating teen programming materials and content for the 2012-2013 school year
2. To help envision, plan, and set in motion a significant teen training program for teacher assistant positions
3. To plan integrated, Tzedek-focused programming for the 7th – 12th grade formal and informal program for the 2012-2013 school year
4. To assist in developing a plan for integrating our partner organizations (Jewish Community Action, Neighborhood House, and Jeremiah Program into Chai School (7-12th grade)
Office work:
Occasionally the intern may be asked to assist with general office work – filing, phone calls, and organizing. These responsibilities will never amount to more than 2-5 hours a week. The primary focus of the internship is teen programming.
