Kibbutz Lotan – Go Green…In Israel!

5771 begins with a kibbutz full of activity and blessings. The date harvest started early in August and the crop was delicious. ur community has expanded with new families, newborn babies, Israeli high school graduates on a yearlong leadership training program, volunteers from around the world and US college students participating in our fall semester Peace, Justice & Environment program in conjunction with UMass Amherst, Living Routes and MASA. Study Abroad:

In November 2009, the University of Minnesota approved Study Abroad to Israel for the first time since it’s founding. Starting fall of 2010, students could begin studying through two approved programs at Israeli institutions: Hebrew University in Jerusalem and Haifa University in Haifa.
