Front Desk Interns

These interns are the first face of Hillel, welcoming people to the building, answering the phones and making sure that Hillel is a warm and inviting place for all.

Tzedek (Community Service) Intern

This intern will work to infuse Tzedek and Community Service in to all the regular events that we plan. They will serve as a resource to the student board and others who plan programs. Average hours/week: 4-6.

Shabbat Administrator Intern

There’s a lot that goes into a Hillel Shabbat—so we need your help! This person will find people to lead services, d’vrei Torahs, set up the prayer books and candles, and do some minimal work with food. Average hours/week: 2-6.

Data Management InternAn organization’s data is their lifeblood! Learn how managing all this information works, and help us make our systems better. Average hours/week: 4-6.

Development /Fundraising Intern

As a non-profit, we rely on our donors for some help. In this internship, you will learn how development works for a non-profit, and you will gain experience with fundraising as well. Average hours/week: 4-6.

Public Relations/Marketing Intern

We have a lot of great things going on… but we need your help getting the word out about all that we are doing. This intern will need to be confident with In-Design or Photoshop to make posters, Facebook Fan Pages and Twitter to get the online word out, have an eye for a great photograph, and be able to write well for our newsletter and website. Average hours/week: 6-12.
